The foundation

Established on 27 October 2025 and recognised as a charity, the Swiss Foundation for Wheat and Bread aims to promote the Swiss cereal value chain, in particular:

  • By creating and running the ‘From Wheat to Bread’ exhibition space, comprising the Swiss Museum of Wheat and Bread and its collection.
  • By developing and supporting the promotion of high-quality food products made from cereals produced and processed in Switzerland.
  • By encouraging the promotion of the skills and trades of farmers, millers and bakers.
  • By supporting cultural activities and events that highlight the Swiss cereal value chain, such as the Fête du Blé et du Pain.
